Using recycled aggregate concrete at a precast-concrete plant: A multi-criteria company-oriented feasibility study

Numerous test results at laboratory scale confirm the utility of Recycled Aggregate (RA) for development concrete that demonstrates durability and adequate in-fresh mechanical behavior. However, feasibility evaluations use RA in real industrial applications are necessary, before any large-scale application these products can begin. In this research, producing precast-concrete components containing large amounts coarse a plant is analyzed. Two Self-Compacting Concretes (SCC) were produced incorporating 0% 100% RA, respectively, both (0.08 m3) (2 m3). Work took place industrial-scale facilities company was collaborating study.
